Some studies have shown a link between caffeine consumption and a woman\u2019s ability to conceive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Most experts agree that moderate amounts of caffeine \u2014 about 300 milligrams (mg) per day \u2014 do not seem to affect a woman\u2019s fertility. However, one study showed that 200 mg or more of caffeine per day increases the risk of miscarriage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists states that less than 200 mg of caffeine per day does not appear to increase the risk of miscarriage, but more research is needed regarding higher doses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To calculate your caffeine intake, you should also know the other sources from which you may be consuming it, such as tea, soft drinks, energy drinks, chocolate, and ice cream. Caffeine is also found in herbal products and pain-relief medications, including some used for headaches, colds, and allergies.
