Your relationship with your partner and those around you during pregnancy

Your relationship with your partner, family, and friends may change during pregnancy and even more so after your baby is born.

People who are not part of your close circle may touch your belly, ask personal questions, give you advice, make comments about your body, or try to guess whether you’re having a boy or a girl — which can often be exhausting.

You may also find that pregnancy affects your sex life. In most cases, sex during pregnancy is completely safe, but your desire may increase or decrease.
